JUNIORS Music Trophy – Jade Duncan

Trophy for Enthusiastic Participation in Afrikaans – Karl Rindfleisch Linguistics Trophy: This is awarded to the pupil with the highest total in English and a First Additional Language. Awarded to Larissa Van Wyk – Eng: 93% & Afrik 96%

Science & Maths Trophy: This is awarded to the pupil achieving the highest total in Sciences and Mathematics. Awarded to Erin Lane – Maths 89% & Science 87%

JUNIOR DUX : This trophy is awarded to the pupil achieving the highest total in all their subjects except for Life Orientation – the 2018 recipient is Cole Baker. 

SENIORS Linguistics Trophy: This is awarded to the pupil with the highest total in English and a First Additional Language. Awarded to Joshua Benadie English 87% / Afrikaans 98%

Science & Maths Trophy: This is awarded to the Pupil achieving the highest total in Sciences and Core Mathematics and went to Joshua Benadie Maths 96% / Physical Science 94%

Tri-Subject Proficiency Shield: This is awarded to the pupil achieving the highest total in their 3 choice subjects and went to Joshua Benadie Accountancy 94% / Business Studies 94% / Physical Science 94%

SPECIAL AWARDS

Good Fellowship Awards; this award is given to a pupil from each grade who has provided support and encouragement throughout the year to their peers. The recipient of this award is voted for by the pupils in each grade.

The Joshua Award: Joshua 1:9 states: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” The award is made to a pupil in recognition of their strength of character and courage throughout the year. Nonie and Janet Zondi received the Joshua Award for 2018. 

Congratulations to our Head Prefects for 2019; Kaitlin Grobler (Head Girl), Nikhil Gopal (Head Boy), Gugulethu Gwamanda (Deputy Head Girl) and Joshua Benadie (Deputy Head Boy).
