Grace College welcomed well-known sports presenter and commentator, Andy Capostagno, as Guest Speaker at the Sports Awards Evening held last night. His message to the students was clear and simple as he encouraged them to continue to play organised sport after school to ensure that they keep on having fun! Amongst the seniors, Keziah Dewing was awarded Sportswoman of 2017. Sportsman of the Year was shared by Eric Hyde and Nicholas Johnson, these two also shared the Player of the Year award for Cricket. Eric Hyde was additionally proclaimed Player of the Year for both Indoor and Field Hockey. Our Rugby award for Player of the Year went to Alex Hill. We applaud all of the achievers and look forward to seeing what our up-and-coming sporting ladies and gents will bring to the seasons ahead.
