A New Chapter Begins at Grace College

2026-Soil-Turning-Ceremony-7

Grace College proudly marked a significant milestone with the official groundbreaking of its highly anticipated Aquatic Centre, a moment that signals growth, opportunity, and an exciting future for both the school and the wider community.

This Aquatic Centre will be open not only to Grace College learners, but also to the broader community and neighbouring schools. Designed to foster learning, wellness, sport, and meaningful connection, the facility promises to become a vibrant hub that will benefit many for years to come.

The groundbreaking ceremony was made even more special by the presence of Councillor Kate Janse van Rensburg, whose support and participation underscored the importance of this development for the local community.

Grace College extends sincere thanks to Coffeeberry Café for generously keeping everyone warm with excellent coffee on what was a cold, yet memorable morning. Your support added comfort and joy to an already special occasion.

A heartfelt appreciation also goes to the dedicated “A Team” working on the project. Their expertise, commitment, and professionalism inspire great confidence as construction begins. With GR Construction and Engineering, Bartsch, D Construction, Ashley’s Pools, and GeoCon leading the way, the College looks forward to a successful build and an exceptional final result.

This Aquatic Centre represents more than just a new facility — it is a symbol of progress, collaboration, and shared vision. Grace College is excited to see this project take shape and looks forward to the positive impact it will have on learners and the community alike.
