This year first place went to Toni Hemming for her rendition of ‘Dear Mr President’ and Rebecca Webster placed second with her own composition. In third place was a skit about an old age home with a difference, two elderly couples add spice to their lives, by cranking up Bob Marley’s “Is this Love?” on the juke box and dancing joyfully together. This delightful piece of gentle, comedic physical theatre is devised and performed by Matric Drama students; Michaela Collop, Kerryn Fourie, Candace Swart and Bianca Santoro. A number of staff ended off the evening’s entertainment with amusing mimes of songs through the ages.
