The primary aim of the Masihambisane Programme at Grace College is to provide a stimulus for pupils to reach their full potential holistically, spiritually, academically, emotionally, and physically.
Pupils are encouraged, challenged, and motivated to practice sound work ethic and to be self-motivated self-discipline in their sports & academics & spiritual life. Our dedicated sports & academic volunteers constantly assess the pupils and their achievements and discuss ways to stretch their achievements to exceed initial expectations. As pupils strive for individual academic & sporting excellence, they will acquire skills that prepare them for tertiary education & sports and ultimately be globally effective citizens.
Masihambisane has achieved significant results through its transformational festivals and clinics and has also mentored young men and women who have now reached higher levels in their sporting codes.
Some of our Alumni have exceeded academically & also in sports and have represented the school in various platforms.

Masihambisane encourages learner motivation and a positive attitude through sport. Making use of the sporting facilities at Grace College, teams from disadvantaged schools are invited to participate in sport festivals. Schools from the rural areas interact with teams from the local independent and model C schools. The festivals are non-competitive and encourage a ‘love for sport’ and good sportsmanship through interaction between learners. Masihambisane has been hosting annual netball and soccer festivals and basketball clinics that combine local government schools & private schools. We are working towards hosting our first cricket and rugby festivals and clinics as well in the coming years.
